Melbourne United defeated South East Melbourne Phoenix in the NBL Melbourne derby on October 10, overcoming a 15-point deficit to take the points. The game shaped up as a dramatic Throwdown thriller that had the crowd gripped.

Oduro put the game away with a double-double, putting in a big shift when it mattered most. It was the kind of second-half surge that gives a rivalry real bite.

In other NBL action on the same night, the Perth Wildcats welcomed the New Zealand Breakers in a separate fixture.
