Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank on October 10, 2026. Reed kicked out of a Tsunami before Femi secured the pinfall victory.

Ahead of the match, Reed carried the same mindset from his bout with Roman Reigns into the contest. He came in with a clear-headed approach and made no secret of it. He also addressed fan criticism over his weight loss, saying it had not hurt his ability to perform in the ring. Reed was firm that his physical changes had not made him any less dangerous between the ropes.
